It is the home of Manfred the moody mammoth It is the ultimate of Custom Rides It is the quintessential subject of many of the topics of interest to car enthusiasts and discussed here on CustomRides.com.

Esoteric rhetoric aside, Convertabus is my custom school bus conversion [project]. It is something close to my heart, and provides an excellent opportunity to discuss and relate maintenance and mechanical insights that should be relevant to anyone, regardless of what their custom rides are.

For the light-hearted, there are the added bonuses of the fine appointments such as leather love seats and flat panel TVs. And for you meat-eating manly-men, there are the gigantic 18-wheeler-sized tires and a huge turbo-charged diesel engine. Plus a few fun stories.

Through Manfred, as the bus has been named, we’ll have lots to discuss as it relates to your favorite vehicle. Manfred carries in him the spirit of all the vehicles I have ever owned – probably 80 or so if you count every car, motorcycle, go cart, and boat I have ever had.

Now, all boiled down, Convertabus is an adjunct “Maintenance” section of the CustomRides.com website. I hope you enjoy it – I know I will!
